MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

Uttarakhand Trust Provides medical assiastance to poor families and individuals. Patients from remote areas of Uttarakhand suffering from serious illnesess are given financial assisstance. As cases are presented, an investigation is done to understand the degree of illness and financial situation of each patient. Upon approval, expenses are covered for patients who are desperate and cannot pay including doctors, lab tests, surgeries, treatments, medicines and follow-up visits. We organize medical camps also in the remote villages. You can also support us for these causes.

Our beneficiaries-Medical assistance

Ravindra Singh (32), a very poor resident of GhansaliGongarh village-Kot, District TehriGarhwal. Underwent an eye surgery at Amritsar eye clinic. The total cost of the surgery was Rs. 19000/- which was borne by the Trust, The amount was paid directly to the hospital.

Satendra S/o Shri Moolchand Village Sunderkhal, Po. O. Kunjkhal, Pauri Garhwal, who was admitted to Mahant Indiresh Hospital in an emergency, was helped by way of monitory support of Rs. 15000/- . The emergency assistance was given on the recommendation of the committee. The aid was sent directly to the hospital’s account.

On October 30, 2022, Uttarakhand Satrudra Trust organized a one-day free health camp at Gram SabhaBairai village, Fakot, Tehri Garhwal in collaboration with Shri Ganesh Khanduri, Pharmacist Government Ayurvedic Hospital Bamboo Catal, Narendra Nagar, Tehri Garhwal. Trust member DrRakeshBaluni (former Additional Director Uttarakhand Health Services) conducted health check-up of the patients. A total of 30 people were examined in the camp and free medicines were distributed.

On November 07, 2022, Uttarakhand Satrudra Trust organized a meeting at Community Health Center Raipur, Dehradun at 11 am. Under the "Free India Campaign", and pledged to provide nutritious food to 6 TB patients for 6 months. These patients were provided with the prescribed nutritious diet for the first month in the presence of Dr. Pratap Singh Rawat, in-charge of the center. Trust will extend such program in the hilly districts of the state
